This research was carried out with the objective of evaluating the biological effectiveness of Hypocreales microorganisms, in the same way as the Oxamyl molecule, for the control of nematodes, a hidden enemy in Musaceae crops. For this purpose, a laboratory experiment (in vitro) was carried out in which phytonematodes (Pratylenchus ssp, Scutellonema ssp, and Helicotylenchus ssp) were subjected to entomopathogenic fungal mortality. Nematode populations were established with Spirulina-enriched oat flakes in 90 x 14 mm plastic Petri dishes with 0.3 g of oat flakes and 5 mL of distilled water. 0.5 g of Spirulina was used in the medium. According to the established criteria, the Hypocreales strains: Trichoderma sp, Paecelomices sp, and Trichoderma plus Paecelomices showed nematicidal activity in the same way as the chemical. The results show that the evaluated strains of Hypocreales fungi indicated good potential for the control of different stages of Pratylenchus ssp, Scutellonema ssp, and Helicotylenchus, it was possible to determine the mortality and parasitization of the nematodes in the evaluated strains. These data demonstrate that the cyanobacterium Spirulina sp allows these nematodes to cover their nutritional requirements in vitro.
