Abstract

This work is based on showing the theatrical techniques of dramatic art that can increase the effect and quality of teaching and learning a language based on the experience fostered with the incorporation of these techniques and strategies that lead to opening the processes of teaching - learning in a context in which the student takes ownership of their training. The dramatic art and the arts in general; promote creativity, imagination, cooperative work and expressiveness through our body, develop skills and abilities such as orality that contribute to language learning; as well as the integration of communicative methodologies and techniques to language teaching. Language teachers have the possibility of expanding these competences through activities that stimulate the learner, since a language is learned and mastered with greater skill when using fundamentals that help communicative work and developing the desire to share, interact and expand experiences which would favor a setting for fluid communication and in a freer and more open context.
