Abstract

This article proposes a series of reflections on the need to implement academic mechanisms of integral training for the incorporation of emotional literacy through the creation of classroom ecosystems suitable for university students to recognize, understand, interpret and express their emotions effectively with the purpose of improving their quality of life from their university experience. This exercise seeks the harmonious involvement of all actors in the teaching-learning process and consideration of future curricular modifications in higher education that incorporate methodologies and subjects based on integral education according to their ethical dimension of the notions of academic success as a result of a series of intentional actions, administratively
planned and in the vindication of the human being as a primordial component of the integral growth of societies.
