Abstract

The author presents the results of an impact study of the vocational training program in El Salvador. The results indicate that refresher courses and training are vital to influence the welfare of the participant and his family since employability status rises and significantly improves revenues. The author applies the econometric tools to determine the impacts on professional training in employment and income for this purpose using the econometric approach of double difference.
