Abstract

We present the results of our applied research activities on fused .lament deposition (FDM) for additive manufacturing - also known as 3D printing. In a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach, we have applied the technology in solving specific problems in a range of application areas. Through a selection of 7 different application examples we demonstrate the high versatility of the technology and its high potential for a substantial contribution to the innovation of El Salvador’s productive industrial sector.
