Abstract

Now a days, the forms of social conflicts are very common in latinamerican countries; the different social groups find their shelter in the forms of mobilization, and with that, they pretend to expose their demands to the state. In El Salvador, when the Peace Accords were signed, various social movements started putting into process the new forms of mobilization, struggle repertories and with that, new social demands in a different context. Also, the new social movements started did not present the class characteristics as they have done previously to the Peace Accords; this is in this way because the plurality of its doers, gave them in certain way other focus. To that, it was also attributed the mobilization character; they do not get focus on the taking over of power but in the work conditions, salary, attention to the environment, sexual liberty, and so on. This article exposes some characteristic aspects of the social conflicts expressed by the new social movements in the postwar context.
