Innovation ecosystems have become the new organizational structures and the interrelation between several actors, to promote entrepreneurship and innovation as non-traditional productive sectors. In that context, the emerging Creative Economy allows the marketing of goods and services derived from ideas and cultural activities (such as traditions and artistic expressions), this being an opportunity for many newly graduated and enterprising professionals to join or create productive activities such as success stories in Mexico and Colombia.
Due to the absence and a few information in El Salvador about the state and the trend of the creative economy, with this work we seek to contribute in the epistemology and importance of the implementation of innovation ecosystems, and collect information from the principal sources about state’s creative economy; especially, actions of the most relevant actors of this scheme. In addition, as part of the methodology used to collect the perceptions, experiences, needs and Salvadoran challenges, interviews were conducted to two different types of entrepreneurship (a company with more operating time and staff, and a startup) Keywords: national libraries, tecnology, information, virtual enviroment.
