Ms. Editor: This prestigious journal published the article "Oral and dental diagnosis in kindergarten children living in a marginal urban area" on July 20, 2022, where a high frequency of dental caries was found in the population studied, which can cause short and long term repercussions, not only in dental health but also in general health.
