Application of regulatory frameworks to the migrant-returnee population for their productive and labor reinsertion during the territorial control plan.

The main objective of the research “Application of regulatory frameworks to the migrant-returned population for labor-productive reintegration during the Territorial Control Plan” was to analyze the application of specialized and supplementary legal regulations in care of the migrant-returned population during the execution of the phases of the Territorial Control Plan, with the purpose of knowing the labor and productive reintegration process, the actions to prevent irregular migration and considerations for improvement in institutional interventions. For the study, qualitative methodology and techniques such as semi-structured interviews and work with focus groups were used.
The findings obtained include the application of guidelines established in international regulations such as the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration; and national regulatory frameworks such as the Special Law for the Protection and Development of Salvadoran Migrants and Their Families, the implementation of institutional strategic plans binding on the care of the returned migrant population, and the Territorial Control Plan framed in the execution of the opportunity phases and extraction, as well as some challenges and considerations for improving the interventions carried out for the labor and productive reintegration of the returned population.
