Experience, achievements, results and challenges of the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua, Managua in the project Regional Integration, University and Sustainable Development in Central America IRUDESCA

This article summarizes the experience, achievements, results and challenges of the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua, Managua in an international collaboration project in the field of Entrepreneurial Education/training called: Regional Integration, University and Sustainable Development in Central America IRUDESCA. The work collects and consolidates the different activities carried out in each phase of the project; incorporates assessments, comments, evaluations, lessons learned and challenges in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship. This project was aimed to strengthen relations between universities and the Central American and European economic and social fabric. The project was focused on the training of entrepreneurs with special attention to content related to business cooperation, the creation of sustainable value chains at the regional level, and the improvement of the productivity and competitiveness of microenterprises, small businesses and cooperatives.
