FINITE DIFFERENCE METHOD FOR SAINT VENANT'S TORSION.

Abstract

this paper we will present the formulation of the problem of Saint Venant with its respective analytical and numerical solution. The problem was solved analytically through the stress function of Prandtl and the solution of Timoshenko and numerically through the method of finite differences.
