Abstract

The research focused on knowing the necessary characteristics in the implementation of social interest housing design with bioclimatic components, this to generate a proposal that with the comfort parameters in temperature and lighting of these.
For this, it was necessary to carry out a comparative analysis between the bioclimatic house and the control house built for Habitat for Humanity El Salvador, which are located in the El Niño Canton of the Municipality of San Miguel, this information is necessary to know the operation of bioclimatic housing, improving the quality of life of its inhabitants, taking into account factors such as the temperature of the house and natural lighting.
This type of study is important to know, because it opens the doors to a constructive model in the country, generating better proposals for social housing, and thus improving the standard of living of the population.
