Abstract

Nowadays, many teachers, constantly, complain about the written works of university students and blame technology for that. However, many students think and feel that the majority of teachers do not, clearly, provide what is it that they want in the papers that should be written. This means that there are some teachers that do not specify what the writings should be about and some of them do not even provide a rubric for the evaluation of the paper.

That is the reason why teachers should define their position concerning the writing production of their students bearing in mind their integral formation and the demands of today´s society. Also, it is important to realize that writing is a process and working towards its development as a competence should be scoped for the far future and not for an academic period only.
