Abstract

The objective of this paper is to outline the reflections of Francisco Gavidia on the theme, already classic of philosophy in the region, about the construction of a philosophy of its own. This topic is dealt with in The formation of a philosophy of its own or Latin American, a text which will be used, among others, for argumentative purposes. In addition, other writings that have produced researchers of the work of the same author are taken, in order to expose and interpret the fundamentals of the subject.
