Economic development pole’s in the region of Usulutan in El Salvador

Abstract

The present research shows the economic potential of renewable resource in the microregions at the Jiquilsco Bay and the mountain region between of Tecapa-Chinameca, in El Salvador. The research´s accumulation in the biotechnological field developed by Department of Agricultural, Coffee Research Center of El Salvador, Salvadorian Council of Coffee, Agricultural National Research Center and the National School of Agriculture, shows the existence of natural renewable resource and the technological capability to commercially exploit it in a responsible form a different kind of products such as: products of locally fishing, local coconut micro-industry, local shrimp micro-industry and locally grown products. At the same time, the article identified that those locally products may would be arisen like a potential economic pole including the production and industrialization of cacao and coffee grains.
