Every four years, the Atlantic Coast escapes the chronic oblivion in which it is buried by the work and grace of the elections mandated by the Statute of Autonomy instituted in the last decade. The national attention summoned, by the media and the contending political groups, to remember, at least for a few months, that there is a poorer and more desperate reality than that of the Pacific: that of the Atlantic Coast.
