Wani is a quarterly journal (four issues per year) of the Centre for Research and Documentation of the Atlantic Coast of the Central American University (CIDCA-UCA). This publication is specialized in the Nicaraguan Caribbean, the site inhabited by the indigenous and ethnic communities in Nicaragua, and which runs from 1987, a project of decentralization and regional autonomy constitutionally based in Act 28 or Act autonomy.
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
