Abstract

Much is said about the Atlantic Coast of Nicaragua, but very little is known. Some believe that the Miskitos are the only inhabitants of the Atlantic Coast, and on that mound many mistakes are made. It is in this region, which covers 56% of the surface of Nicaragua, where the conglomerate of ethnicities and the so-called “Miskito problem” occurs.
