Abstract

This text is biographical and artistic note of the ‘costeño’ poet Carlos Rigby Moses. It points not only to his first steps in the literary circles of the country, but also to the different artistic and political activities of this versatile Caribbean poet: his inclinations to music and the trombone, his participation and compromise with the Revolution and the important role that he played in bringing together the Caribbean and Pacific –Spanish speaking- cultural sides of Nicaragua. The text also leads us into a journey through his best poems and reveal us the activities and relationships that this great poet had with the main artists and literary personalities of our country.
