Abstract

The present research contains the necessary indications to make effective the elaboration of a plan for the protection of the archaeological cultural heritage of the Rama and Kriol Territory (Indian River), according to the existing legal system. This plan is intended to achieve the development of a process of social change and the implementation of sustainable actions to achieve the conservation of the archaeological resources inventoried in this Territory. Therefore, this protection plan is presented as a strategy that includes the opinions of specialists in archeology and the contributions provided by local stakeholders. The objective is to conserve, manage and make good use of archaeological resources, taking into account the current reality.
