The author of this Sumu narrative is Ronas Dolores Green, FSLN alternate for the North Atlantic in the National Assembly, CIDCA researcher and native of the Sumu community of Wasakín. It represents the narrator's point of view on the activities of the banana companies and their aftermath in the Bambana River area. This text was recorded in Rosita in 1986, and is part of a book of oral texts on the history of the Wasakín community.
