The second Spanish text, due to the Ordinary Engineer Antonio Porta Costas, is the account of the journey made by him around 1790, from Cape Gracias a Dios to Bluefields. With it he fulfilled an order from the authorities of Guatemala, who intended to “discover” a more convenient site than Cape Gracias a Dios to found a colony.
