Three poems by Carlos Rigby
Keywords:
Literature, Poetry, Poetry Caribbean Coast of NicaraguaAbstract
If the true poet is the singer of the popular feeling, the one who can say Jo that his people suffer and knows how to say it well, Rígby is 'the coastal poet par excellence. “Nicaribe soy” is the most synthetic way of expressing, with a pure voice, the current coastal spirit. “Nicaribe soy” is not a project for the future but the daily reality, and the people who make up the coastal society know it better than anyone.
