Abstract

The bilingual book (English-Spanish) by Professor Hugo Sujo Wilson is a product that has been awaited for many years. It is an absolute truth that we coastal people are a society of oral tradition, that is to say, that we transmit history from one generation to another, basically through oral language; in such a way that the languages of the indigenous peoples and ethnic communities of the region have fulfilled this task, and in this journey, concepts, new forms and new knowledge have also been enriched.
