Autonomous regional elections in the caribbean 2010

Abstract

This study presents the results of the electoral observation and monitoring carried out by IPADE before, during and after the Nicaraguan Caribbean elections on March 7, 2010. The observation team was composed of a central team and a net of voluntaries with professional experience on ten previous elections. The main intention of this observation was to verify the transparency of the electoral process and to contribute in a constructive way to improve the electoral system.
