After the results of regional elections of 2014, the correlation of forces between the FSLN and YATAMA changed drastically in both the Autonomous Regions, RACN and the RACS. The interviews here presented with Brooklyn Rivera, Hazel Law and Blas Coleman describe the events, the different positions taken by those leaders of the miskito people to cope with the new situation and the struggles resulting from the different strategies that reflects the ones existing presently among the miskito community.
