With the purpose of strengthening the teaching and learning of fractionary numbers in the miskito language, this study offers us the names of some fractionary numbers in this language, a topic rarely tackled in the Regional Autoionic Educational System (SEAR). All this through direct interviews and participative observation with members of the communities, communal leaders and teachers, as well as the revision of bibliographic sources. The investigation is a contribution to fill the vacum that exist in the curriculum of the Bilingual intercultural Educational Program, specifically with respect to the texts of mathematics.
