Abstract

This study is based on the practice and recognition of a nightly minstrel show in the community of Laguna de Perlas, in the Region Aut6noma del Atlántico Sur (RAAS), called Minstrel Show. A traditional Creole art form that includes expressions of humor, theater, music, poems and traditional dances. The Minstrel Show is a show of the Creole people to share their way of seeing, understanding and acting within a culture and a territory. It is an expression of this coexistence.

Licenciatura en Educación en el Nivel Medio, por la universidad BICU, 1997; cursa el último año de Psicopedagía en la universidad BICU; diplomado en Gestión Cultural, por la universidad URACCAN. Autora de la investigación “Bailes Tradicionales de Laguna de Perlas”.
