Raíces Journal is a virtual publication of the Department of Anthropology of the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua, UNAN - Managua. This reflects the mission and vision of the Department of Anthropology, which since its beginnings in 1994 is dedicated to research for the knowledge of socio-cultural reality, local and regional, in order to actively participate in the construction of a multicultural society with equal rights.
