Curriculum and didactics in the teaching practice of the mayangna ethnics

This article presents the main results of the development of the Curriculum and Didactics Module in teaching practice and its innovative application in the adaptation of the initial and primary education programs of the Mayangna ethnic group. The Module is part of the Diploma in Curricular Design and Teaching Materials for the Strengthening of Intercultural Bilingual Education (EIB).
The objectives of the module are: 1. Strengthen the knowledge and experiences in curriculum and didactics in the teaching exercise. 2. Apply the investigative process in the adaptation of preschool and primary programs with an innovative character. The research focus for curricular adaptation is qualitative, among the applied techniques for data collection are: Interview, Observation and Documentary Analysis. The results show that the application of the steps of curricular adaptation has allowed Mayangna teachers to develop theoretical and practical competencies in the curricular, didactic and investigative field, for decision-making in improving the curricular mesh and the programs in the areas of knowledge based on the learning of the boys and girls of the Mayangna communities according to the territorial context and educational policies of the region and the country.
