Abstract

Introduction: It is important to understand how the pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2, that produces COVID-19, has impacted consumption and consumer behavior, considering the measures taken to combat the pandemic and the effects on companies. Methods: A bibliographic review was carried out, using secondary sources of bibliographic nature and open access databases. Discussion: Since SARS-CoV-2 was discovered and with the spread of COVID-19, changes have occurred in behavior consumption initiating with the storage of goods. As the pandemic develops, it had effects on the consumer. Conclusion: It is important to ask oneself whether the effects on the consumer will last due to COVID-19.
