I RECIFRE Congress "Society, Politics and Religion in Central America"

Abstract

The First Congress of Red Centroamericana de Investigadores del Fenómeno Religioso, RECIFRE, "Society, politics and religion in Central America", took place from February 22 to 24, 2023, on the campus of Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana (UNITEC), under the co-sponsorship of Facultad de Ciencias Administrativas y Sociales (FCAS) in hybrid modality. RECIFRE was founded on October 20, 2021 to promote research, formation of academic spaces, exchanges and dissemination of studies related to the religious phenomenon, through an academic and interregional network. The Congress brought together researchers from Honduras, the rest of Central America, the United States, Mexico, Chile, Cuba, Brazil, France, and Germany.
