Abstract

Nowadays, it is easier to “appear” than to “be” a scientist. This reflection arises from conversations with academic and scientific colleagues from various areas of knowledge, mainly from biological sciences, medical sciences, education and philosophy. These thoughts respond to experiences that seek to open a debate on the moral and ethical conceptions that scientific research faces.
