Current pedagogical conditions for the development of the Accounting Informatics module in the non-government

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the current pedagogical conditions in which the Accounting Informatics module is developed, especially, the infrastructure conditions, the teaching profile that attends the module, didactic conditions and the assessment that the student makes about the development of the module from the perspective of his learning. The research was carried out with a quantitative approach and nine variables were analyzed that allowed to reach more precise conclusions and obtain information that serves as the fundamental basis for the elaboration of a proposal, which consists of management strategies on infrastructure elements, teaching and evaluation strategies; finally, strategies for selection and professionalization of teachers are proposed. These strategies are intended to improve the quality of the teaching-learning processes in the Accounting Informatics module.

Jeffry Saúl Rivas, Instituto Oficial Perla del Ulúa

Magíster en Educación para la Gestión Administrativa y Financiera, docente de Educación Media en Educación Comercial y Perito Mercantil y Contador Público. Se ha desempeñado como docente de Educación Media por 14 años consecutivos en seis institutos gubernamentales y no gubernamentales de los departamentos de Atlántida y Yoro, Honduras, impartiendo las asignaturas del área administrativa, contable y financiera. Actualmente labora en el Instituto Oficial Perla del Ulúa de EL Progreso, Yoro; y el Instituto Oficial Rafael Pineda Ponce de Santiago, Tela.  Además, ha tenido la experiencia de impartir dos módulos curriculares en la Carrera de Administración Agropecuaria del Centro de Recursos de Aprendizaje de Educación a Distancia (CRAED), El Progreso, Yoro – Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras (UNAH).
