Abstract

We present here a fragment in Miskitu with a translation into Spanish of a long poem titled "Green Man, Blue Woman." This literary text captures major aspects of Miskitu culture and identity. It is also a musical piece that was part of the Sihkrutara bi-national (Nicaragua-Honduras) Miskitu celebration this year, in various communities of the RAAN, including Bilwi, Waspam, and Prinzapolka.
