Artificial Intelligence in Education is a field of scientific research that has emerged over 3 decades and is particularly interested in the development of AI-based tools to support and understand educational processes. This research aims to present the state of Artificial Intelligence in Education, using a comprehensive literature review method. It comprised 3 main stages: selection, classification and analysis of the literature. This allowed to identify the applications, technologies, challenges and ethical implications of Artificial Intelligence in Education.
