Tawira is an indigenous government, whose offices in the city of Bilwi are located next to the Niño Jesús school. Since there are researchers and different organisms here, such as the URACCAN and BICU- CIUM universities, so every time they do this type of event they should take us into account, because they have kept us isolated. We, dear friends, in the sector of Tawira lived very well before Hurricane Felix. At all levels, both economically and in our way of life. But now we have become very poor, since two years have passed and we have not been able to recover as before. Why? Because we have not been able to recover the resources we had, such as shrimp, because if we do not have shrimp we do not have money and there is no food. We make great fishing efforts, but we always come back with little production.
