The twenty fifth anniversary of Bluefields Indian & Caribbean University (BICU)

Abstract

In December 2015, the University Council approved the plan of activities to be developed during 2016 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the existence of the University of the communities of the Nicaraguan Caribbean coast. For five months we have held multiple events in celebration of our birthday, among which special mention should be made of the anniversary celebrations at the university campuses in the other municipalities. In Bluefields we concentrated several events in which delegations from all the university campuses, artists from national universities, the national leadership of the member unions of the National Council of Universities (CNU), and we culminated with the full presence of the CNU.
