Contributions of the law firm “Roberto Gonzalez” UNAN-MANAGUA in the defense of fundamental rigths

This article describes the work of the Law Firm Roberto González Herrera of the UNAN-Managua as part of its university extension, in order to fulfill the social commitment with the Nicaraguan people in the promotion and defense of the fundamental rights of women, the family, childhood, adolescence, disabled people and the elderly. Being the main result of this task, the collaboration with the system of justice workers and other related public institutions.
This experience allows the law firm to be a legal laboratory that can contribute to the definition of the research lines of the Law Department, which will allow a correct link between legal theory and forensic practice, which is the essential contribution that from our University we can make in the constant and necessary changes and transformations of our national legal system.
From this space we are also a receiving unit that facilitates the realization of the professional practices of law students in order to achieve their integral learning by preparing them for their broad work qualification. We conclude that twelve years after our management in the law firm we can affirm that we have fulfilled the mission and vision that UNAN-Managua
