The article focuses on the approaches and strategies used in the teaching of Relativistic Mechanics and their impact on student learning. The study was carried out with 29 students from the fourth year of the Mathematical-Physics Major at UNAN-Managua, RUC-Estelí. A mixed methods research combining quantitative and qualitative methods was used to collect and analyze data. The results showed that the implementation of pedagogical practices referring to experimentation, linking theory with practice, is effective and has a positive impact on students’ learning, improving their understanding of relativistic concepts and the ability to apply them. The most effective strategies included contextualization, the use of analogies, visual representations, mental experiments and problem solving, which, when included in learning activities, yield excellent results. These strategies promoted students’ deep understanding, critical thinking and interest in Physics. In conclusion, the study highlights the importance of implementing adequate pedagogical practices in the teaching of Relativistic Mechanics to improve students' learning and foster their interest in the field.
