Abstract

In this article, the most outstanding aspects of Architectural Semiotics were addressed in a timely manner, focused on its application in the design of any architectural typology. The importance of knowing and applying architectural semiotics at the moment of conceiving spaces of habitat and human use that contemplate all the needs and expectations of the user was highlighted. In order to fully and effectively understand this relevant topic, it was extremely important to highlight the dimension of elements such as texture, color, shapes, sensations, feelings and perceptions that significantly influence the interaction process between the user and the projected space.

The importance, as a designer to know properly on the subject of architectural semiotics lies in raising the possibility of designing any work, attached to the essential aspects to achieve an appropriate balance of comfort and well-being that provides positive sensations, satisfying the tastes and preferences of the user let her live
