studies, in which no statistical analysis with hypothesis
tests was observed; so it's considered different. We
worked with two samples, the first was 1,215 students,
of which 446 did not drop out and 769 did. In the
second, we worked with 293 students, 108 did not
drop out and 185 did. The method used is quantitative

is a cross-sectional study.
The most relevant aspects of the study are: the
probability that a student will finish the second year
of their degree is 60% and that they will reach the
fifth year is 35%. The variables that have a statistical
influence on student dropout are: chosen career, mode
of study, age, employment status, number of children,
