Abstract

In Nicaragua educational thoughts, values, paradigms, and models have evolved linked to the historical periods experienced. Nicaragua’s transit through different government models has determined the educational model in each era, depending on the political and economic interests of its rulers, among other factors. The transformative context of education in Nicaragua starts from the 1979 Sandinista Popular Revolution, and with it a pioneering educational philosophy, policies and organization of the country are created. In the current period, it is a constant practice to include, cover, play a leading role, improve educational quality, and provide comprehensive education to effectively shore up the prosperity of Nicaragua. A nation where the Family, the Community, and we all have better opportunities to Learn, Entrepreneur, Work and Prosper.
