Issue 62 of the journal Realidad y Reflexión (Reality and Reflection) emerges in response to a decisive moment in the recent history of higher education: the emergence of artificial intelligence (AI) as a transformative agent of pedagogical models, institutional processes, and forms of knowledge production.

The call for papers that gave rise to this monographic issue was conceived as a space for critical, multidisciplinary, and forward-looking reflection on the impact of AI in the university setting. In line with the mission of Francisco Gavidia University to contribute to social progress and the competitiveness of the country through the training of innovative professionals, the initiative sought not only to document experiences, but also to promote debate on the ethical, pedagogical, and social implications of this technological revolution.
